Essential amino acid used as a sulfur-containing amino acid supplement in poultry, fish and other animal feeds.
DL-Methionine is the synthetic form of methionine, which is usually the first limiting amino acid in poultry feeds. It is used as a feed additive at approximately 99% purity in poultry, fish and other monogastric animal rations to support growth and health (it is also known under the trade name MetAMINO).
