Rongalit C (sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate) is a water-soluble reducing agent used in the textile industry for the reduction of indigo/vat dyes and for bleaching, and in redox initiator systems for rubber/latex emulsion polymerization. It is usually sold in dihydrate form.
