Organophosphate ester used as a plasticizer, antifoaming agent and flame retardant.
Triisobutyl phosphate is the isobutyl ester of phosphoric acid. It is used as a plasticizer in PVC and other polymers, and as a defoaming/flame-retardant additive in hydraulic fluids and certain industrial processes.
