Strong oxidizing salt used in bleaching, as a polymerization initiator and in hair lightening products.
Potassium persulfate is a water-soluble white crystalline salt with strong oxidizing properties. It is used as an initiator in emulsion polymerization, as an oxidizer in textile bleaching, as a component of hair lightening powder formulations and in copper etching baths in printed circuit board manufacturing.
