Surfactant used in heavy-duty laundry detergents and hard-surface cleaners.

Dehydol LS 6 is a nonionic surfactant obtained by ethoxylation of C12-C14 fatty alcohols with an average of 6 mol of ethylene oxide. It is used as a wetting agent and emulsifier in heavy-duty laundry detergents and hard-surface cleaners. The producer states an HLB value of 11.5 and a cloud point of 42 °C in water (EN 1890, method A).
