Hygroscopic glycol used in antifreeze, unsaturated polyester resin and polyurethane production.

Diethylene glycol (DEG) is the dimer of ethylene glycol; it is a colorless, odorless, hygroscopic liquid. It is used in antifreeze/coolant formulations, in unsaturated polyester resins, in polyurethane production and in some solvent blends.
