Solvent/intermediate used in antifreeze, polyester production and heat transfer fluids.

Monoethylene glycol (MEG) is a colorless, odorless and hygroscopic liquid. Its largest use is in PET (polyethylene terephthalate) and polyester production. It is also used in antifreeze and coolants, in heat transfer fluids, in polyester resin production and in some solvent applications.
