Also known as: 2-AminoethanolEthanolamine

A reactive amino alcohol used in natural gas sweetening, surfactant and cement additive production.
Monoethanolamine (MEA) is a colorless, hygroscopic liquid that carries both an amine and an alcohol group in the same molecule. It is used for CO2/H2S removal from natural gas and refinery gases (gas sweetening), in detergent and surfactant production, as a cement grinding additive and as a textile auxiliary.
