Polyvinylpyrrolidone K30 (PVP K30) is a hygroscopic, white-cream colored amorphous powder used as a binder in tablet production, as a film former in cosmetics and as a stabilizer in nanoparticle synthesis. The K value (K30) is a classification parameter indicating the average molecular weight/viscosity of the polymer.
