Nonionic emulsifier used in cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulations, obtained by ethoxylating hydrogenated castor oil with 40 moles of ethylene oxide.
PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil is a nonionic surfactant obtained by ethoxylating hydrogenated castor oil with an average of 40 moles of ethylene oxide. It is used as an emulsifier and solubilizer in cosmetic products (creams, lotions, perfume solubilization) and in pharmaceutical formulations.
