Zinc oxide is a white, water-insoluble metal oxide. The 'White Seal 99.7%' grade is preferred in rubber, cosmetic and paint formulations that require high purity. It is used as an activator in rubber vulcanization and as a filler/UV-protective component in cosmetics.
