EDTA salt used as a metal ion chelating agent in cosmetics, detergents and industrial water conditioning.
EDTA disodium salt (Na2EDTA) is a chelating agent that binds metal ions such as calcium and magnesium. It is used as a stabilizer in cosmetics and cleaning products, as a hardness remover in industrial water conditioning and as a metal ion complexing agent in textile and dyeing processes.
