This group covers the chemicals used in drinking water and wastewater plants, and in the conditioning of boiler, cooling and process water.
Coagulation and flocculation
- Aluminum sulfate in 48% solution and in powder or granular form, iron(III) chloride and iron(II) sulfate heptahydrate as coagulants.
- Anionic and cationic polyelectrolytes and PolyDADMAC as flocculants and coagulant aids, with acrylamide monomer in powder and solution form as the polyacrylamide raw material.
- Lime as a pH raiser and precipitant.
Disinfection and oxidation
- Sodium hypochlorite solution, calcium hypochlorite 90% powder, sodium chlorite solution 31% for chlorine dioxide generation, potassium permanganate, hydrogen peroxide and sodium percarbonate.
- CMIT/MIT 14% as a biocide for cooling towers and process water, and copper sulfate pentahydrate as an algicide.
Dechlorination, oxygen scavenging and reduction
- Sodium metabisulfite grades, sodium bisulfite solution 35%, sodium thiosulfate, sodium sulfite, sodium hydrosulfite and hydroxylamine sulfate.
- Sodium hydrosulfide as a sulfur and reducing agent source in wastewater treatment.
Scale control, softening and pH
- ATMP 50%, HEDP, DTPMP and disodium and tetrasodium EDTA as scale and corrosion inhibitors and metal ion chelating agents; morpholine as a volatile neutralizing corrosion inhibitor in steam and boiler systems.
- Sodium hexametaphosphate, disodium and monosodium phosphate, diammonium phosphate as a nutrient source, magnesium sulfate, magnesium chloride and acrylic acid for water treatment polymers.
- Regeneration and pH chemicals: refined salt, potassium chloride, soda ash in light and dense grades, sodium silicate solutions, caustic soda in flake, bead and liquid form, sulfuric acid 50%, hydrochloric acid 30% and citric acid.
