Linear alkylbenzene sulfonic acid used as the principal anionic surfactant raw material in detergent production.

LABSA (linear alkylbenzene sulfonic acid) is a viscous acid mixture obtained by sulfonation of linear alkylbenzenes with a C10-C13 chain length. Neutralized with sodium hydroxide, it is used in the production of sodium LABS, a detergent raw material.
