Metal Surface Treatment

These products are used in pickling, degreasing, electroplating, galvanizing, etching and passivation lines, and in the corrosion protection of finished surfaces.

Pickling and acid cleaning

• Hydrochloric acid 30%, sulfuric acid 50%, nitric acid 56% and phosphoric acid 85%.
• Citric acid, oxalic acid and sulfamic acid for rust removal and scale cleaning, and sodium bisulfate as an acidic salt.

Alkaline cleaning and degreasing

• Sodium metasilicate pentahydrate as an alkali source in industrial cleaning and metal surface treatment, with tetrapotassium pyrophosphate.
• Trichloroethylene as a degreasing solvent.

Plating, etching and flux

• Chromic acid and sodium dichromate for chrome plating and passivation, copper sulfate pentahydrate and zinc sulfate for electrolysis and plating baths, and potassium cyanide for electroplating.
• Ammonium, potassium and sodium persulfate and iron(III) chloride for etching baths; manganese sulfate and potassium permanganate as surface treatment chemicals.
• Zinc chloride 99% as a galvanizing and soldering flux, ammonium chloride as a soldering auxiliary, potassium carbonate as a flux and barium chloride for heat treatment salt baths.

Corrosion inhibition and sequestration

• Sodium nitrite in technical and 99% grades and morpholine as corrosion inhibitors.
• HEDP, ATMP 50%, DTPMP and sodium gluconate as sequestrants and chelating agents in bath chemistry; sodium hydrosulfide for surface treatment.
