Zinc sulfate heptahydrate (approximately 22% zinc, 7 moles of water of crystallization) is a colorless to white crystalline zinc salt. It is used as a micronutrient fertilizer in agriculture, as an animal feed additive and as a zinc source in textile and galvanizing baths.
