HEDP (etidronic acid) solution used as a scale and corrosion inhibitor in water conditioning and boiler/cooling systems.

HEDP (1-hydroxyethylidene-1,1-diphosphonic acid) is an organic phosphonate chelating agent. It is used as a scale and corrosion inhibitor in cooling water and boiler systems, as a set retarder in cement production, as a chelating agent in electroplating and as a hardness remover in cleaning products.
