Phosphonate-based scale/deposit inhibiting chelating agent used in water conditioning and detergent formulations.
ATMP (amino tris(methylenephosphonic acid)) is a phosphonate group chelating agent that prevents the formation of scale and deposits in water conditioning systems. The product is an acidic aqueous solution containing 50% active matter. The designation 'Colour 30 Max' in its name denotes a light-colored, low color index grade.
