Reactive, corrosive monomer used in the production of acrylate polymers and superabsorbents.
Acrylic acid is an unsaturated carboxylic acid used in the production of acrylate esters, superabsorbent polymers (SAP) and various acrylic resins. It is flammable and corrosive, and generally contains a stabilizer to prevent polymerization.
