A nonionic PEG fatty acid ester used as an emulsifier and surfactant.
PEG-400 oleate is a nonionic surfactant obtained by the esterification of polyethylene glycol 400 with oleic acid (it may be a mixture of mono- and diesters). It is used as an emulsifier/softener in cosmetic and textile auxiliary formulations, and as an auxiliary in industrial emulsions.
