85% formic acid solution used in silage additives, leather tanning, rubber coagulation and textiles.
Formic acid is the simplest carboxylic acid and is used as a silage/feed preservative additive, in leather tanning, in rubber latex coagulation and as a textile dyeing auxiliary. The 85% aqueous solution is the common high-concentration form of commercial formic acid.
