Sorbitol-derived nonionic emulsifier used in food, cosmetic and industrial emulsions.

Sorbitan monooleate is a nonionic surfactant obtained from the partial esterification of sorbitol with oleic acid. It is used as an emulsifier in water-in-oil type emulsions and as an auxiliary in cosmetic and food products.
