Soap and Oleochemicals

These products are the fatty raw materials and alkali sources used in bar and liquid soap manufacturing and in oleochemical processing.

Fatty raw materials

• Soap noodles as an intermediate for solid bar soap production.
• Stearic acid in the 1801 and 1843 palm and coconut based technical grades and the 1845 and 1865 grades, oleic acid 74% and distilled coconut fatty acid.
• Hydrogenated palm stearin and refined castor oil as oleochemical raw materials.

Alkali sources

• Sodium hydroxide in flake, bead and liquid form for solid and liquid soap saponification.
• Potassium hydroxide flake for liquid soap and biodiesel production, soda ash in light and dense grades and potassium carbonate as an alkali source in soap formulation.

Co-products and auxiliaries

• Technical glycerin, the co-product of saponification, used in industrial formulations.
